Branches Catering hosted The Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce’s 15^th  Annual Spinnaker Awards- A Celebration of Community Spirit - “the men and women who, individually or through their businesses or organizations, make this area such a wonderful place in which to live and work. “

Branches Catering was pleased to accept the Community Service Award in recognition of its commitment to and charitable support for such organizations as Ronald McDonald House, Two River Theatre, 180 Turning Lives Around, Monmouth University, Two River Film Festival, The Center in Asbury Park, and others too numerous to mention.

The IRIS Awards were developed by the International Association of Business Communicators to recognize excellence in communications. The New Jersey Chapter offers a collective resource of experts in the art of business communications. Members are industry leaders who specialize in writing, design, creative services, concepts, marketing, positioning and technology.

An Evening With Olympia Dukakis Benefiting
"180 Turning Lives Around" Held in Torchwood Room
at Branches Catering on January 22, 2007

Toby Shylit Mack, Event Chair, and fifty prominent Monmouth County women attended a private reception to hear heartfelt and poetic readings by Olympia Dukakis to raise money for 180 and awareness about domestic violence. The Academy Award winning actress donated her time and created an environment of compassionate sisterhood. The evening was enhanced by the ambiance of the magnificent fireplace, living room setting, and delectable food and specialty drinks donated by Branches. The generosity of renowned Jazz pianist Jeff Levine’s music and Floral Designer, Deirdre Kosmas’ exquisite orchid and branch designs illuminated with candles helped set the mood for a meaningful and delightful evening.
